Yaitu kebersamaan selamanya. Aku tak bisa memberi itu.

Aku mulai menyadari bahwa hidupku bukan hanya milikku seorang.Namaku Risa.
This is basically DANUR (2012) with a few changes/additions. The cover design changes (so does the logo of the publisher, Bukune). GDD has an adorable illustration of Risa & her 5 ghost friends.
I like this very much, though I think DANUR also has a unique cover design that I like, employing cut out technique. Hence, I don't regret buying both books.

Her name becomes a selling point. The blurb on the back cover also slightly changes. GDD is more concise, and it doesn't show any endorsement (DANUR has an endorsement from Soleh Solihun). I think Risa is famous enough now, so she doesn't need the endorsement anymore. In terms of the size, GDD is a bit bigger than DANUR (I don't know the exact measurement). The content of the book is the same, except that GDD adds one page of Risa's contemplation after each chapter/story. The lay-out design and font choice are different.
I like GDD's better because it looks neater, and the font choice (for the chapter titles) is prettier. What I like about GDD: cover design, illustration, lay-out design, font choice, and Risa's signature on the first page. What I don't like: TYPOS! Why do I still find some??!
They should have done better. Thanks to Danur, my thirst for horror story is satiable (for now).It was love at the first sight when I see the cover design (no, the photo you see here doesnt do it justice, it's way nicer when you see the actual book), and it turned out the inside layout/design is lovable as well. Though I'm not really fond of the illustrations, they suit the story well. Now, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering what the meaning of Danur is when hearing/reading this word. The author explains it nearing the end of the book: Danur is the horrible-smelling liquid produced by a rotting corpse.I finished reading the book in one night (well, it's only about 200 pages anyway) and I'm glad that the story has a happy ending. And even though this is a story about ghosts, mostly I feel sad rather than scared. I never interested in horror stories because I get scared easily. But I was curious about this book after I listened to 'Story of Peter', a song that based on true story in a town where I live.
And surprisingly, this book didn't scare me at all, umm.even when I had to stopped reading -twice- because.sigh. I felt a bit 'uncomfortable' while I was reading it. In fact, the story of Samantha brought tears to my eyes. I rarely cry when read or watch a movie, so even I was quite surprised by it.I never interested in horror stories because I get scared easily.

And I started to see everything from another perspective. This book is a compilation of sad stories of those who already gone and each story taught us something, about the meaning of a family, about relationship, about the will to live, about regret, about promise.
Yes, spirits are scary but behind those ugly and scary look they're also full of stories that they want to tell us about, and they need a listener. Risa, the author is their listener, and she shared it with us.I might buy the other books from this author, because I want to know more of 'their' stories. Interestingly enough all these ghost stories bring tears to my eyes. My coworker is a big fan of Risa Saraswati and she lent me her books, all complete with a personalised stamp that said 'property belongs to. (her name)' and Risa's autographs. I find this book unique since it is supposedly based on real life events and that the author herself isn't writing a horror book, it's more like an autobiography where she can take lessons from each ghosts and period of her life and we can learn from Interestingly enough all these ghost stories bring tears to my eyes.

In fact, my situation's worse. I've stopped reading completely and it makes me really unpleasant and clumsier in real life. I'm about to (try) to change that.
Okay, this is a really interesting book. The book has different ways of telling the story and how it unravels the relationship of the characters mentioned. The way it's written really helps me connect with the character. The story itself is really beautiful, I must say. On top of that, the author was able to give a satisfactory ending.

This is real? If this is real, i want to meet you Risa:)ya percaya kok emang makhluk gaib ada, tapi sebenarnya, makhluk gaib tidak boleh diajak berteman. Memang sih asik, cuma memang tidak boleh: if anyone ask me 'Would you be friends with a supernatural being?' I'll answer 'yes, I would. But unfortunately cant, so I'm not going to make friends with them.' This book is cool.
